Trauma-Informed Yoga

Trauma-informed yoga can help create opportunities for individuals to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment through curiosity, options, and compassionate understanding. The core purpose of somatic work is to help individuals connect with and embody the life force that animates and energizes them. Healing is rooted in wholeness, integration, and connection, guiding us to embrace all parts of ourselves–dark and light–to reclaim and understand our true power. This process will look different for each individual. As a facilitator, it is my responsibility to create a safe environment for students, while allowing the movement to do the work.

1:1 Classes & Small Groups

Private, personalized classes are an excellent way to expand and deepen your yoga practice, whether you are just beginning or an advanced practitioner. Calling upon my knowledge of mental health and working with the emotional body, I am able to create a personalized yoga flow sequence that can help provide relief within the body and mind, helping you drop into a more regulated space. I offer 1 on 1 classes as well as small groups. Virtual classes are also available.

Multiple disciplinary teaching

I am a certified 200-hour yoga teacher and certified 200-hour trauma-informed yoga teacher. Trained in vinyasa, slow flow, hatha, yin and other styles.

Trauma Informed Meditation

Trauma-informed meditation is all about creating a safe, flexible space to explore mindfulness in your own way—no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ here. Traditional meditation can feel daunting, especially when facing challenging thoughts, emotions, or sensations. That’s why this approach invites you to meditate however feels best for you—whether that’s sitting, lying down, or even moving. My role is to guide you with care and compassion, helping you meet whatever comes up with kindness, curiosity, and a sense of presence.

Trauma-Informed Breathwork

Trauma-informed breathwork is all about finding breathing practices that feel safe and comfortable for you. Instead of diving straight into complex techniques, we ease into it, knowing that focusing on the breath can be tricky for some. Because the breath is so connected to the nervous system, these gentle practices help you feel more balanced, calm, and in control. It’s a supportive way to explore self-regulation and connect with yourself at your own pace.
